Level Field Fund Awards 27 Grants Totaling over $30,000

The Level Field Fund recently announced the decision to award 27 grants totaling over $30,000 to a selection of talented and financially challenged athletes from the pool of summer and fall applications. Among the grant recipients are two-time World Champion swimmer Megan Romano, U.S. Mogul Ski Team rising star Troy Murphy, top U.S. diver Laura Ryan, rising U.S. Nordic combined star Adam Loomis, U.S. Snowboarding team member (pictured above) Eric Beauchemin and one of the top young ski racers in the U.S., Samuel Morse.
Since 2002, Level Field Fund has funded 22 athletes that have competed in 110 X Games events and won a total of 13 X Games medals. Fifteen Level Field Fund recipients have competed in 37 X Games events winning a total of 7 medals. With the help of Ortholite as a founding partner, the Level Field Fund has awarded 284 grants to 163 different athletes from 17 sports totally $496,760 in funding.
